Memory card cannot be
inserted.
Memory card was not facing the correct direction. Turn the
memory card over and reinsert it.

card.
Memory card is full. Erase still images to free some space or
replace the memory card.

The folder and file numbers have reached their maximum value.
Set [FILE NOS.] to [RESET] and insert a new memory card.

Image cannot be erased. Image is protected. Cancel the protection. 69
” flashes in red. Card error occurred. Turn off the camcorder. Remove and
reinsert the memory card. Initialize the memory card if flashing
persists.

Problem Solution
The printer is not operating
even though the camcorder
and printer are correctly
connected.
Disconnect the USB cable and turn off the camcorder and the
printer. After a short while, turn them on again, set the
camcorder to mode and restore the connection.
Problem Solution
Cannot record with this
camcorder video input from an
external video device
connected to the HDV/DV
terminal using a DV cable.
Set [AV DV] to [OFF]. 42
Wrong signal standard. Refer also to the instruction manual of
the connected device.
Dubbing may work using the AV/ terminal.
Problem Solution
A rattling can be heard from the
camcorder.
The internal lens fixture can move when the camcorder is turned
off. This is not a malfunction.
