Voice memos of up to 30 seconds can be added to still
images.
Face the microphone to record your comment.
Hold the camera about 20 cm (7.9 in.) away for the best
results.
The remaining recording time appears during recording.

APress w to set the camera to Playback
mode (➝p.33)
BPress p or q to select the image to add
a voice memo.
CPress MENU/OK to open the menu.
DPress n or o to select VOICE MEMO.
