Adjustment Preparation Adjustment Procedure
Press the buttons

and V simultaneously on the recorder and connect the mains plug.
In doing so, the following channels are set on the first 5 programme positions for frontend adjustment (vision
demodulator circuit):
Programme 1 – channel 12; programme 2 – channel 21; programme 3 – channel 68
programme 4 – channel 8; programme 5 – channel 60
Warning: This function erases all data entered by the customer (stations selected, …)!
– Load a test cassette. The video recorder then switches automatically to play mode.
– Call up the service function:
– Press the Z button on the remote control handset ("

" is indicated in the display).
– Enter the code number 4 9 3 4 and press the O button ("
SERV
" is indicated in the display).
– Press the 3 button.
During the automatic adjustment of the headwheel position indicator the display shows "
DRUM 00
00
A3
".
On successful adjustment the video recorder ejects the test cassette.
– To cancel the service function: Mains reset or press the "Standby" button.
Connect IC7060-(7) to +5V

via a 10kΩ resistor.
Frequency counter to IC7060-(7).
