A Camera ID Character strings entered here will be written to the JPEG comment segment
(item name: camera). Refer to the [API Guide] on the file formats of JPEG.
B AGC For setting AGC (Auto Gain Control).
Setting to AOnB enables automatic increase in sensitivity even when
brightness of the object is insufficient.
Memo
The image on the screen may appear grainy at dark places but this is not
a malfunction.
C Easy Day and
Night
For turning On/Off the Easy Day and Night function.
Select AOnB when shooting an object where the illumination changes
drastically as in day and night. When set to AOnB, the image automatically
switches to color when the illuminance is high. It switches to black-and-white
when the illuminance is low.
When this item is set to AOnB, setting for BAGC also becomes AOnB at the
same time.
Note
When the camera is switched on under a low temperature, the image
may become black-and-white for 10 seconds even with sufficient
illuminance when the Easy Day and Night function is AOnB.
D Shutter Speed For setting the shutter speed.
This is usually set to 1/60. To reduce flickering phenomenon under
fluorescent lighting in a location with commercial power frequency of 50 Hz,
set the shutter speed to 1/100. (Set to 1/60 for inverter illumination.)

E Back Light
Compensation
For turning On/Off the Back Light Compensation feature.
Set this to AOnB when there is a bright light source at the background of the
object.
F White Balance For adjusting the white balance.
Setting this to AAutoB enables automatic white balance adjustment, that can
show natural color.

For adjusting the red/blue colors when white balance is set to AManualB.
G Red
Enhancement
Emphasizes the red color in increasing density with every click.
H Blue
Enhancement
Emphasizes the blue color in increasing density with every click.
