Calibrating the Printer
The printer is busy. The printer is not ready for
calibration.
• Wait a few minutes until the operator
panel Ready light is illuminated.
• If this message continues to occur, power
the printer off and then on.
The ribbon is advancing. The printer is not ready for
calibration.
• Wait a few minutes until the operator
panel Ready light is illuminated.
• If this message continues to occur, power
the printer off and then on.
The operator panel is in use. The printer is not ready for
calibration.
• Press the Clear button to return to Ready.
• If this message continues to occur, power
the printer off and then on.
The printer is initializing. The printer is not ready for
calibration.
• Wait a few minutes until the operator
panel Ready light is illuminated.
• If this message continues to occur, power
the printer off and then on.
Paper error. The paper is empty or not loaded. Load the paper. See See “Loading the Paper”
on page 1-9.
Paper empty. The paper is empty. Reload the paper. See See “Loading the
Paper” on page 1-9.
Ribbon empty. The ribbon is empty. Reload the ribbon. See See “Loading the
Ribbon” on page 1-5.
Paper jam. The paper is stuck in the printer or
paper path.
Clear the paper jam. See See “Clearing a
Paper Jam” on page 6-3.
Cover open. The upper cover is open or not
latched.
Close the upper cover by pressing on the
center of the cover until it clicks.
Printer error: 2500. Please
call for service.
