Copying Pictures
The Copy feature allows you to copy pictures between a Picture Card and the
cameras internal memory. You can capture pictures on a Picture Card, then
copy and save your favorites into internal memory.
Or, you may wish to copy pictures to a Picture Card for portability: for viewing
on a different computer, or for printing at your local photo retailer.
Before You Copy
Before you copy files, make sure that:
m you have a Picture Card inserted in the camera.
m the cameras picture storage location is set to the location you are copying
from. See Choosing Internal Memory or Picture Card, page 13.
Copying Pictures
1 Turn the Mode dial to Review and press the Menu button.
2 Highlight the Copy menu , then press the Select button.
3 Highlight the Copy option you wish to use:
PICTUREcopies the current picture.
EXITreturns you to the Copy screen.
ALLcopies all of the pictures from your
selected storage location to the other
location.
4 Press the Select button.
A progress bar monitors the copy process, then disappears when the
pictures are copied. For information on picture numbering after a copy,
see page 75.
NOTE: Pictures are copied, not moved. If you wish to remove the pictures from
the original location after they are copied, delete them manually (see
page 25).
