Setting the Custom Function
- Setting the Custom function allows you to use the menu selections and
settings on pages 84-88.
However, because the menu option default setting is “OFF”, you first have
to cancel the “OFF” setting for CUSTOM in the Setup menu. (p.120)
- Once you cancel the “OFF” setting, the menu settings screen appears and
you can set image quality parameters such as the flash brightness and
image contrast to your preferred settings.
1. Select the Custom setting menu option.
The current setting is displayed.
“CUSTOM OFF” is displayed as the default
setting.
2. Use the ̆ or ̄ buttons to select
“CUSTOM 1”.
You can also select “2”.
•You can specify 2 different custom image
quality settings.
3. After selecting the custom setting, use
the ̇ or ̈ buttons to choose from the
menu options on p.84-88 and specified
your preferred settings.
•To take pictures using the normal (default)
settings, select CUSTOM OFF and press
the SET/DISP. button.
To take pictures using the specified custom
image quality settings, select CUSTOM 1
or 2.
