BASIC RECORDING PROCEDURE
Rotate the function dial to .

Slide the power switch to turn on the
camera.
The power switch returns to the initial
position.

Determine the image composition
while looking into either LCD monitor
or viewfinder.
When holding the camera, be sure not to
cover the lens with your fingers and so on.
When the focus is not adjusted on the
subject, use the focus lock function (see
page 38).

Adjust the image range and size with
the / keys.
When the key is pressed, the image size
becomes large (Telephoto mode).
When the key is pressed, the image
range becomes wide (Wide-angle mode).
