The shooting date and time (:an be imprinted on the
images with shooting, allowing the information to be
printed even from printers that do not support date
printing (_ 120).
[] Date
Date is imprinted on images.
Date and time
Date and time are imprinted on images.
OFF Off (default setting) ........................................................................................
Date and time are not imprinted on images.
The icon for the current setting is displayed in the monitor during shooting (_ 6).
However, when Off is selected, no icon is displayed.

Notes on Print Date
Imprinted dates form a permanent part of image data and cannot be deleted, The date and time
cannot be imprinted on images after they have been captured,
The date cannot be imprinted in the following situations:
When using the [] (night landscape) (when Hand-held is selected), [] (night portrait) (when
Hand-held is selected), _! (backlighting) (when HDR is set to On), Sports, Museum,
Panorama, or Pet portrait (when Continuous isselected) scene mode
When using continuous shooting mode (except multi shot 16)
When shooting movies
When the image is a still image saved during movie recording
Dates imprinted at an Image mode setting (_ 47) of _ 640x480 may be difficult to read,
Choose an Image mode setting of [] 1024x768 or higher when using print date,
The date is saved using the format selected in the setup menu's Time zone and date option
(_ 20, 172),
[] Print Date and Print Order
When printing from DPOF compatible printers that support the printing of shooting date and
shooting information, the date and information can be printed without imprinting this information
on them using settings in the Print order option (_ 117),
