Messages
The following messages may be displayed on the LCD monitor during
camera operation.
Alarm set This is displayed when the alarm is set and the camera is
about to be automatically turned off.
Battery depleted The battery is exhausted.Replace the battery.(p.13)
Camera cannot display
this image
You are trying to play back an image not supported by this
camera.You may be able to display this on a PC or another
brand of camera.
Card locked The SD Memory Card is write protected. (p.19)
Card not formatted The SD Memory Card you have inserted is unformatted or
has been formatted on a PC or other device and is not
compatible with the camera.(p.97)
Compression error Compression of the image you captured has failed.Change
the recorded pixels or quality level, and take a picture again.
Data being recorded The image/voice recording is being recorded on the SD
Memory Card.
Data error Displayed when the printer was unable to process the data
in PictBridge mode.
Deleting An images or sound on the SD Memory Card is being
deleted.
Formatting The SD Memory Card is being formatted.
Image folder could not
be created
The maximum file number has been used, and no more
images or sound can be saved.Insert a new SD Memory
Card or format the card.(p.16, 97)
Image protected This is displayed when you try to delete a protected image.
Memory card error Shooting and playback are impossible due to a problem
with the SD Memory Card.Try displaying it on a PC.
Memory card full The SD Memory Card memory is full and no more images
or sound can be saved.Insert a new SD Memory Card or
delete unwanted images or sound.(p.16, 79)
You may be able to save the image by changing the quality
level or recorded pixels.(p.40, 41)
No card in camera An SD Memory Card has not been inserted into the
camera.(p.16)
No image & sound There are no images or sound saved in the SD Memory
Card that can be played back.
No ink Displayed when the printer is out of ink in PictBridge mode.
