Battery performance temporarily decreases as the temperature
decreases. When using the camera in cold climates, have extra
batteries on hand, keeping them warm in your pocket. Battery
performance will return to normal when returned to room temperature.
Owing to the characteristics of AA alkaline batteries, the camera may
not deliver optimal performance at low temperatures when powered by
alkaline batteries. We recommend the use of other batteries such as
CR-V3 batteries when using the camera in conditions of low ambient
temperature.
When traveling overseas, taking pictures in cold climates, or when you
will be taking a lot of pictures, please have extra batteries ready.
You can extend battery life by switching off the LCD monitor and
shooting using the viewfinder.
