Sensitivity (ISO sensitivity) is a value indicating how much the CCD
senses light. Low value equals low sensitivity, and high value equals
high sensitivity. Sensitivity can be adjusted according to the shooting
situations.
Sensitivity
1 Press the MENU button in Capture mode.
The [A Rec.Mode] menu appears.
2 Use the four-way controller (23)
to select [Sensitivity].
Setting the Sensitivity
AUTO
AUTO800 (64 - 800) is selected by default. (In Digital SR mode,
AUTO1600 (64 - 1600) is selected by default.)
You can also set ISO Correction in AUTO to 64 - 100, 64 - 200, 64 - 400,
64 - 800 or 64 - 1600. (In Digital SR mode, 64-3200 is also selectable.)

At lower sensitivity, images are sharper and noise is reduced, but the
shutter speed will be slower under dark conditions.
At higher sensitivity, the shutter speed will be higher, but image noise
will increase.
(In Digital SR mode, 3200 is also selectable.)
