You can take pictures that are intentionally over exposed or under
exposed.

Press the four-way controller (̇̈) in
Capture mode.
Four-way controller (̇)
decreases the EV compensation to a
negative (–) level
Four-way controller (
̈)
increases the EV compensation to a positive
(+) level
The set level is displayed on the LCD monitor.

̇ or ̈ one time, or set to ± 0, the set level displayed on
the LCD monitor will go off after two seconds.
