Taking Pictures
Available in
In (Digital Panorama mode), you can stitch 2 or 3 pictures into a
panoramic scene (landscape). You do not have to stitch individual
pictures on a PC, as the camera automatically stitches them together.
1 Press the four-way controller (3) in A mode.
The Capture Mode Palette appears.
2 Use the four-way controller (2345) to select
(Digital Panorama), and press the 4 button.
The screen to specify the direction you want to pan appears.
The following procedures are for the case you select “right”.
3 Press the four-way controller (5).
The camera is ready for taking the first picture.
4 Compose the first picture and press the shutter release
button.
The first picture is taken.
After the taken image is displayed on the LCD monitor (Instant
Review), the camera is ready for taking the second picture. An
“overlay” from the first picture appears at the left 1/4 of the LCD
monitor.
5 Pan the camera to the right, compose the second
picture, and press the shutter release button.
Be sure to make the “overlay” cover the same position in the second
picture when you compose.
After the Instant Review of the second picture, the camera is ready for
taking the third picture. An “overlay” from the second picture appears
at the left 1/4 of the LCD monitor.
