Messages
Messages such as the following may appear on the LCD monitor during
camera operation.
Messages during shooting
Messages during playback
Compression error Compression of the image you captured has failed. Change
the quality/size and try again.
Memory card full
Built-in memory full
The SD Memory Card or the built-in memory is full and no
more images can be saved.
Insert a new SD Memory Card or delete unwanted images.

Or change the quality/size and try again. (p.112)
Battery depleted.
the image is not stored
The batteries are exhausted.Replace with new batteries. If
using rechargeable batteries, charge the batteries (p.16).
It may also appear when you turn on the power after
purchasing the camera or after replacing the batteries if the
batteries had been removed for a long time. (p.25)
Image folder cannot be
created.
The largest file number has been assigned to an image and
no more images can be saved. Insert a new SD Memory
Card or format the SD Memory Card or built-in memory.

No image/sound There are no image/sound files on the SD Memory Card or
in the built-in memory.
Camera cannot play this
image/sound
You are trying to play back an image or sound in a format
not supported by this camera. You may be able to play it
back on another brand of camera or PC.
The card memory is not
enough to copy images
& sounds
When copying data from the built-in memory to an SD
Memory Card with [Image/Sound Copy], there is not
enough space available on the SD Card.
You can insert a new SD Memory Card (p.21), delete
unwanted data (p.98) or change the quality level and
recorded pixels (p.112).
The built-in memory is
not enough to copy
images & sounds
When copying data from an SD Memory Card to the built-in
memory with [Image/Sound Copy], there is not enough
space available on the built-in memory.
You can delete unwanted data (p.98) or change the quality
level and recorded pixels (p.112).
