Press the shutter release button.
œ The image is captured in the desired flash mode.
<Shooting without using the LCD monitor>
1Press the flash button.
œ The LCD monitor turns on briefly to show the currently set flash
mode.
2Press the flash button within 5 seconds to set the desired flash
mode.
HINT
œ At normal focus, the effective flash range is 0.5 to 3.1 meters (widest lens
setting) and 0.5 to 1.7 meters (telephoto lens setting). At macro focus, the
effective flash range is 0.15 to 0.5 meters (widest lens setting) and 0.4 to
0.5 meters (telephoto lens setting).
NOTE
In the automatic flash mode...
œ In the automatic flash mode using the LCD monitor, when the shutter
release button is depressed halfway, a f icon appearing in the upper
right area of the LCD monitor indicates that the flash will operate.
