Smart Remote Embedded
You can use a Smartphone as the remote controller for the camera, and shoot still
images. Still images shot via remote control are sent to the Smartphone from the camera.
Download and install the application “PlayMemories Mobile” from your Smartphone’s
application store.
If “PlayMemories Mobile” is already installed on your Smartphone, be sure to update it
to the latest version.
For details on “PlayMemories Mobile,” refer to the support page (http://www.sony.net/
pmm/).
To send images to an iPhone, or to an Android Smartphone without the NFC function,
refer to “Launching [Smart Remote Embedded] without using One-touch remote.”
With a one-touch operation, you can connect the camera to an NFC-enabled Android
Smartphone, and operate the camera and shoot still images remotely using the
Smartphone as a controller (One-touch remote).
When [Airplane Mode] is set to [On], you cannot connect the camera and the Smartphone. Set [Airplane
Mode] to [Off].
