To obtain the IPv6 address automatically
Select Obtain IP address automatically.
The IP address, prefix length, default gateway are
assigned automatically.
Note
If you select Obtain IP address automatically, ask
the network administrator whether an IPv6 address
can be assigned.
This function is not available in a multi-prefix
environment. The transmission may not work
properly.
To specify the IPv6 address manually
Deselect Obtain IP address automatically. Type
the address in the IP address, Prefix length and
Default gateway boxes.
IP address
Type the IP address of the camera.
Prefix length
Type the prefix length value.
Default gateway
Type the default gateway.
Common setting
Configure the common setting for IPv4 and IPv6
network.
HTTP port number
Type the HTTP port number. Normally select 80.
MTU
Type the IP-MTU value for the Ethernet port.
To obtain DNS server address
automatically
Select Obtain DNS server address automatically.
The Primary DNS server and Secondary DNS
server are assigned automatically.
Note
To obtain a DNS server address automatically, first
enable Obtain an IP address automatically
(DHCP) in the IPv4 setting, or Obtain IP address
automatically in the IPv6 setting.
Ask the network administrator whether a DNS
server address can be obtained automatically.
To specify the DNS server address
manually
Deselect Obtain DNS server address
automatically. Type the address in the Primary
DNS server and Secondary DNS server boxes.
Primary DNS server
Type the IP address of the primary DNS server.
Secondary DNS server
Type the IP address of the secondary DNS server, if
necessary.

Wi-Fi Tab
Supported models: SNC-CX600W
Use this tab to set the connection of the Wi-Fi network.
Notes
A wired network and a Wi-Fi network cannot be used
at the same time.
The IP address of a Wi-Fi network will be assigned
only when a wired network is not connected.
Wi-Fi network connection check
Displays the current connection status of a Wi-Fi
network.
If the camera is connected to a Wi-Fi router, the display
will be highlighted.
SSID
Displays SSID of the Wi-Fi router that can be connected
to.
Security
Displays the current setting method as either
authentication or encryption.
None
Connect to a Wi-Fi router without encryption.
WEP
Connect to a Wi-Fi router using WEP (Wired Equivalent
Privacy).
WPA/WPA2
Connect to a Wi-Fi router by performing an
authentication which is compliant to WPA/WPA2
(Wi-Fi Protected Access).
Channel
Displays the wireless channels of a Wi-Fi router that can
be connected to.
