Symptom Cause Solution
Your camera cannot play
back images.
The mode switch is not set to .
You have changed a folder or file name.
You cannot play back images processed on your
computer.
The camera is in USB mode.

The image cannot be played
back on a computer.

Your camera cannot
perform enlarged playback.
Enlarged playback is not available for files
created or processed using other devices.
You cannot display a print
(DPOF) mark.
You cannot display print (DPOF) marks on
movies.
Symptom Cause Solution
Your camera cannot delete
an image.
You are using a “Memory Stick Duo” with a
write-protect switch, and the switch is set to
LOCK.
p Set it to the recording position (page 83).
You have deleted an image
by mistake.
Once you have deleted an image, you cannot
restore it.
p When you are using a “Memory Stick Duo” with a write-protect
switch, the switch will prevent you from deleting images by
mistake (page 83).
Symptom Cause Solution
You do not know if the OS of
your computer is
compatible.
p Check “Recommended computer environment” (pages 53 and
64).
You cannot install the USB
driver.
p In Windows 2000, log on as Administrator (authorized
Administrator) (page 53).
