Setting the distance to the subject — Focus preset
When shooting an image using a previously
set distance to the subject, or when shooting
a subject through a net or window glass, it
is difficult to achieve a proper focus using
the auto focus function. The Focus preset is
useful in these cases.
When shooting underwater, select the
underwater mode for the Scene Selection
function (page 30).
, Set the mode switch to , and
press MENU.
The menu appears on the LCD screen.
You can also carry out this operation when the
mode switch is set to [ ].
, Select [ ] with the control
button v, then press EXEC.
Select [FOCUS] with the
control buttons v/V, then
press EXEC.
When the mode switch is set to , select
[ ] with the control button v.
Focus setting information is approximate, and
should be used as a reference.
