6.5 Operation with Management Software
The use of management software such as VIDOS is recommended for operating larger systems
with multiple senders and receivers.
VIDOS is a software package for operating, controlling and managing CCTV installations (such
as surveillance systems) at remote locations. It runs under Microsoft Windows operating
systems. It is primarily designed for decoding video, audio and control data received from a
remote sender and for the convenient control of hardware connections.
Many options are provided for operation and configuration when using a VIP XD with VIDOS.

Another program that supports the VIP XD is Bosch Video Management System. Bosch Video
Management System is an IP video security solution that enables the seamless management
of digital video, audio and data over any IP network. It was developed for use with Bosch
