The Speedlite 550EX has Custom Functions which enable you to customize
Speedlite functions according to your preferences.
● Setting a Custom Function
Press the LCD panel illumination
button for at least 2 sec. until
appears on the LCD panel.
Press the < > button until
the Custom Function No. to be
altered blinks.
• Pressing the < > button selects
the Custom Function No. from F1 to F6.
Press the < > or < > button to set
the Custom Function setting to 0 or 1
according to your preference.
Press the < > button.
• The display stops blinking.
Press the LCD panel illumination
button or the < > button to
return to the normal state.
• You need not press the LCD panel
illumination button for 2 sec. or longer.
Custom Functions
• A Custom Function can be set while the wireless selector is set to or .
• When a Custom Function has been set, the icon is displayed on the LCD panel.
