* Press to cancel the complete
initialization while it is in progress. All
recordings will be erased but the recording
media can be used without any problem.
IMPORTANT
Initializing the memory will permanently
erase all data. Lost original recordings
cannot be recovered. Make sure you
save important recordings in advance
using an external device ( 71).
When the memory is initialized, music
files will also be erased.
- Windows users: Use the supplied
software Music Transfer Utility to
transfer the music files on the supplied
Instruction Manual/Music Data Disc
CD-ROM to a memory card connected
to a computer. For details, refer to the
software’s instruction manual (PDF
file).
- Mac OS users: Use the Finder to
transfer the music files on the supplied
Instruction Manual/Music Data Disc
CD-ROM to a memory card connected
to a computer. Refer to Music Files
( 101) for the folder structure of the
memory and CD-ROM.
While the initialization is in progress, do
not disconnect the power source or turn
off the camcorder. In addition, do not
perform any operation on the camcorder
(except canceling initialization, if
necessary).
