Turning the Power ON / OFF
Shooting Mode
1 Open the lens cover.
If you further slide it towards "open", the camera
will power up.
The indicator next to the viewfinder starts
blinking green.
Close the lens cover.
The power goes off.
Replay Mode
1 Press the button until the image
is displayed on the LCD monitor.
The camera powers up in Replay mode.
Press the button again to turn the power
off.

You will hear a start-up sound and see the
start-up image when the power comes on
(p. 41,111). (To turn off the start-up sound
and start-up image, power up the camera
while pressing the SET button)
The start-up image does not appear when
the LCD monitor is off.
