Pressing will not start
recording.
Set the camcorder to mode. 32
While a scene is being recorded on the hard disk, additional recording is
not possible.
The hard disk is full. Delete some recordings or initialize the hard disk to
free some space.

recordings.

Recording may not be possible while the drop protection mechanism is
active ( appears).

The camcorder has exceeded its operational temperature ( appears).
Turn off the camcorder and let it cool down before resuming use.
The camcorder has fallen below its operational temperature
( appears). Turn it off and use it in a warmer location. Make sure to
avoid a rapid temperature change.
Even after stopping recording, the
HDD access indicator does not go off.
The scene is being recorded on the hard disk. This is not a malfunction. 32
The point where was
pressed does not match the
beginning/end of the recording.
There is a slight interval between pressing and the actual start
of recording on the hard disk. This is not a malfunction.
The recording suddenly stops shortly
after starting recording.
If recording near loud sounds or strong vibrations, move to another
location.

Camcorder will not focus. Autofocus does not work on the subject. Focus manually. 56

cleaning cloth. Never use tissue paper to clean the lens.

Sound is distorted. When recording near loud sounds (such as fireworks or concerts), sound
may become distorted. This is not a malfunction.
Viewfinder picture is blurred. Adjust the viewfinder with the dioptric adjustment lever. 33
