The Shooting Menu
Aspect Ratio
Pictures taken at an image size setting of r
3
:
2
have an aspect ratio of 3 : 2, the same as a frame of
35-mm  lm. Pictures taken at an image size setting
of g16:9 or m16:9 have an aspect ratio of 16:9.
Pictures taken at other settings have an aspect ratio
of 4 : 3.

IMAGE QUALITY
Choose how much image  les are compressed.
Select FINE (low compression) for higher image
quality, NORMAL (high compression) to increase
the number of pictures that can be stored.

FINEPIX COLOR
Enhance contrast and color saturation or take
pictures in black and white or sepia.

Recommended in most situations.
Mv-CHROME
Vivid contrast and color. Choose
for vivid shots of  owers or
enhanced greens and blues in
landscapes. Available only in k, P,

Take pictures in black and white.
fv-SEPIA
Take pictures in sepia.
Settings other than v-STANDARD are shown
by an icon in the monitor.
Notes
FINEPIX COLOR is not reset when the camera is
turned o or another shooting mode is selected.
• Depending on the subject, the e ects of
Mv-CHROME may not be visible in the monitor.
