PROTECTING AND UNPROTECTING ALL FRAMES
PLAYBACK MENU
Protection is a setting that prevents images from
being accidentally erased. However, FORMAT
erases all images, regardless of a SET ALL setting
(P.74).

1Press d or c to select o ERASE.
Press a or b to select ALL FRAMES.
2Press the MENU/OK button.

If you select ¡BACK, the camera reverts to playback mode
without erasing the frames (files).
Press the MENU/OK button to erase all the
frames (files).

Protected frames (files) cannot be erased. Unprotect
protected files before erasing them (P.56).
If appears, press the MENU/OK button again to erase the frame
(file).

o ERASING ALL FRAMES
PLAYBACK MENU
To stop the procedure mid-way
To cancel the ERASE ALL operation, press the
BACK button. Of the unprotected frames (files),
some frames (files) will be left unerased.

If the erase all operation is canceled immediately, some
frames (files) will still be erased.
Mistakenly erased frames (files) cannot be
recovered. Take care when erasing frames (files).
Copy important frames (files) that should not be
erased to a PCs hard disk, etc.
