PROTECTING AND UNPROTECTING ALL FRAMES
PLAYBACK MENU
Protection is a setting that prevents images from
being accidentally erased. However, “FORMAT”
erases all images, regardless of a “SET ALL” setting
(➡P.74).

If you select “¡BACK”, the camera reverts to playback mode
without erasing the frames (files).

frames (files).

Protected frames (files) cannot be erased. Unprotect
protected files before erasing them (➡P.56).
If “…” appears, press the “MENU/OK” button again to erase the frame
(file).

To cancel the ERASE ALL operation, press the
“BACK” button. Of the unprotected frames (files),
some frames (files) will be left unerased.

If the erase all operation is canceled immediately, some
frames (files) will still be erased.
Mistakenly erased frames (files) cannot be
recovered. Take care when erasing frames (files).
Copy important frames (files) that should not be
erased to a PC’s hard disk, etc.
