Ready light blinks
green.
■ Camera is operating normally.
Ready light blinks
amber.
■ Wait. Resume picture taking when the light stops blinking and turns
green.
Ready light blinks
red and camera
turns off.
■ Install new batteries (page 1) or charge rechargeable batteries.
Ready light glows
steady red.
■ Transfer pictures to the computer (page 29), delete pictures from the
camera (page 19), switch image storage locations (see page 36), or
insert a card with available memory (page 3).
■ Wait. Resume picture taking when the light turns green.
■ Change the image storage location to internal memory (see page 36),
or use a different card.
Ready light glows
steady green.
■ Camera is operating normally.
Ready light is off
and LCD is on.
■ Camera is operating normally.

The computer does
not communicate
with the camera.
■ Visit www.kodak.com/go/c653support or

■ Turn on the camera (page 2).
■ Install new batteries (page 1) or charge rechargeable batteries.
■ Connect cable to camera and computer port (page 29).
■ Install the software (page 28).
■ Disconnect the USB cable. Close all open applications. Re-install the
software (page 28).
■ Disconnect camera from the computer. Close all software applications,
reconnect camera.
