Before contacting the After-sales service please check the
following points:
The mecablitz 34 CS-2 is mounted on a camera but
does not fire a flash:
- Have the batteries been correctly loaded?
- Are the batteries exhausted?
- Has the flash unit automatically switched itself off?
- Is there synch contact with the camera?
- Has the SLAVE function selector

been set at „0“?
- The hot shoe is deactivated when a synch cable is
plugged into the synch socket!
When the mecablitz 34 CS-2 is used as a SLAVE or
servo flash unit and does not fire a flash:
- Have the batteries been correctly loaded?
- Are the batteries exhausted?
- Has the flash unit automatically switched itself off?
- Is the sensor for cordless flash operation receiving a light
pulse? Change the location of the flash unit, stop down
the aperture on the camera lens or diminish the surroun-
ding brightness.
- Has the SLAVE function selector
