Digital zoom
cannot be used.
•Off is selected for Digital zoom in the setup menu.
Digital zoom cannot be used in the following situations.
- When focus mode is set to
E
(manual focus)
- a (smile timer) or y (blink proof) is being used
- When Portrait, Night portrait or Fireworks show is
selected for scene mode
- When scene auto selector is chosen
- When Multi-shot 16 is selected for Continuous
- Before movie recording begins (digital zoom of up to
2× can be applied while movies, excluding Time-lapse
movieP movies, are being recorded)
