Shooting in Scene Mode

Press the shutter-release button to
take the picture.
Focus and exposure are locked when the
shutter-release button is pressed halfway, and
a picture is taken when the shutter-release
button is pressed the rest of the way down.
When the camera is unable to focus, the focus
area blinks red. Change the composition and
press the shutter-release button halfway again.
B Note on Food Mode
Flash mode is disabled. Focus mode setting (A36) is fixed at p (macro close-up).
C White Balance Setting in Food Mode
Increasing the amount of red or blue will decrease illumination effects.
Changing white balance in food mode will not affect White balance in the shooting menu
(A114).
The white balance setting applied in food mode is stored in the camera’s memory even after the
camera is turned off, and reapplied the next time food mode is selected.
