Shooting Suited to Scenes (Scene Mode)

A Draw
Write a memo or draw a picture on the touch panel display and save it as an image. See
“Using the Draw Option” (A71) for more information.
o Backlighting
Use when light is coming from behind subject, throwing
features or details into shadow. The flash fires automatically to
“fill in” (illuminate) shadows.
Camera focuses on subject at the center of the frame. The
area focused can be changed by the touch shutter (A 45)
or touch AF/AE (A50).
The flash mode setting is fixed at X Fill flash.
Use the scene effect adjustment slider (A60) to adjust picture brightness.
p Panorama assist
Use when taking a series of pictures that will later be joined to form a single panorama using
the supplied Panorama Maker 5 software. See “Shooting for a Panorama” (A72) for details.
The default setting for flash mode is c Off.
