If the camera gets wet, wipe

immediately. The salt in
seawater can be especially
damaging.
Do not use organic solvents
such as alcohol or paint
thinner when cleaning the
camera.
Do not leave the camera on
a television, refrigerator, or
speaker.
Do not expose the camera
to dust or sand as this could
cause serious damage.
Do not shake or shock the
camera.
Do not apply excessive force
to the zoom lens.
