Item Description of settings
INPUT SELECT This is used to select the input signals for video and audio.
SDI:
Set the input signal to SDI.
<Note>
When the SDI input signal differs from the recording system format, the images are
displayed black and sound is muted. Also, TC is not correct.
(When the setting menu “SYSTEM FREQ” is set to 59.94 Hz and if exactly 60.00 Hz
signal is input, the output image becomes noise, not black.
1394:
Set the input signal to 1394.
<Note>
When 1394 is set, additional information such as TC is not output to SDI/VIDEO
output during EE/recording.
If 1394 is selected while AVC100 or AVC50 is selected on the setting menu “REC
FMT(HD)”, the setting menu “INT SG” is set to 100%CB on this unit.
INT SG:
Set the input signal to the built-in Signal Generator. (Page 91)
Audio is set at 1kHz of standard level.
SYS FORMAT This is used to set the unit’s recording system format.
(When 59.94 Hz has been set)
1080/60i
:
Set 1080/60i as a recording system format.
720/60P:
Set 720/60p as a recording system format.
480/60i:
Set 480/60i as a recording system format.
(When 50 Hz has been set)
1080/50i
:
Set 1080/50i as a recording system format.
720/50P:
Set 720/50p as a recording system format.
576/50i:
Set 576/50i as a recording system format.
REC FMT(SD) This is used to set the compressed recording format when “SYS FORMAT” has been
set to 480/60i or 576/50i.
50M:
Set DVCPRO50 as a compressed recording format.
25M:
Set DVCPRO as a compressed recording format.
DV:
Set DV as a compressed recording format.
REC FMT(HD) This is used to set the compressed recording format when “SYS FORMAT” has been
set to 1080/60i or 720/60P, 1080/50i or 720/50P.
DVCPRO:
Set DVCPRO HD as a compressed recording format.
AVC50:
Set AVC-Intra50 as a compressed recording format.
AVC100:
Set AVC-Intra100 as a compressed recording format.
