Recording Motion Images
With this camera you can also record motion
images. (If using the supplied 32MB SD
memory card, it is possible to record for about
160 seconds)
[Preparations]
Insert the card. (P17)
Set the power switch to [ON]. (P19)
Set the operational mode dial to single
mode [ ]. (P25)

Set the REC mode dial to motion
image mode [ ].

Center the subject in the focus area
on the LCD monitor and press the
shutter button halfway.
When the focus is adjusted, the focus
indication [

] appears. (

By pressing the shutter button fully,
the recording starts.
The audio REC starts simultaneously.

By pressing the shutter button fully
again, recording stops.
If during the recording the memory of
the card becomes full, the recording
is stopped automatically.

The remaining time displayed on the LCD monitor is an approximation.
It is not possible to record motion images without audio.
If using the MultiMediaCard, after recording motion images, the screen may appear
grey, but this is not a malfunction.
When recording starts, the auto focus and zoom are locked (with the first frame).
Except with the supplied card (e.g. MultiMediaCard), when recording motion images, it
could happen that the recording suddenly stops.
