Using the Optical Zoom
With this function, you can make people
and subjects closer, and landscapes can
be captured in wide angle, with the 3 times
optical zoom. (P25)
[Preparation]
• Set the operational mode dial and REC
mode dial.

Aim the camera at the subject and
adjust the size with the zoom lever.
To make subjects closer (Tele):
Rotate towards T.
To make subjects wider (Wide angle):
Rotate towards W.

Take pictures.
• The recording method is the same as
in “Taking Pictures (AUTO Mode)”.
