In AUTO mode [ ], [MANUAL] mode cannot be selected.
When selecting [MANUAL] in external flash mode, set the REC mode dial to
the aperture-priority AE [ ], or the manual exposure [ ], and set the
aperture value with the camera, even on the flash side. (As the aperture
value changes in shutter-priority AE mode [ ], it is not possible to obtain
the correct exposure. Moreover, as in program AE [ ] the aperture value
cannot be locked, the external flash output cannot correctly operate).
When using the external flash in the aperture-priority AE mode [ ], the
shutter speed becomes 1/30-1/125.
In motion image mode [ ], the external flash cannot be used.
DMW-FL28 can be used at a maximum distance of 10 m.
When using the external flash, it is recommended to set the built-in flash to
off.
When installing the external flash, the camera becomes unstable.
Remove the external flash when you carry the camera.
