splice videos that
were recorded in
different recording
modes.
Select videos that
were recorded in the
same recording

Why is a noise
heard from a
nearby TV or
radio during
battery
recharging?
Electromagnetic
waves are emitted
from the AC
adaptor.
Move the AC
adaptor further away
from the TV or radio
when recharging the
battery pack.

“Built-in Memory
full.” message

available memory
on the card or in
the camera’s built-
in memory.

files, or use a card
that has more
memory available.
Why does the

protected”
message appear?
The lock switch on
the card is in the

position.
Move the lock switch
to the unlocked
position.
Why can’t the
camera be
operated?
A temporary
internal circuitry
problem may be
the cause.

the camera, wait a
few minutes, then
reinstall the battery
pack and try again.
A problem such
as inability to
record or play
back occurs.
The card contains

saved using a
