You can also change the setting from [Contrast AF] in [Live View] of the [A
Rec. Mode 4] menu.
[Contrast AF] is fixed to D in U (Standard)/c (Portrait)/. (Night Scene
Portrait) of n mode or c (Portrait)/. (Night Scene Portrait)/R (Kids) of
H mode.
To lock the focus and recompose the picture, select G or H.
To take pictures when the subject is not in focus, set [12. AF.S Setting] to
[Release-priority] in the [A Custom Setting 2] menu.
You can set whether to display a grid, info
overlay, histogram, and bright/dark area
warning during Live View in [Live View] of
the [A Rec. Mode 4] menu. When [Info
Overlay] is disabled, the indicators which
provide shooting information are not
displayed. (Press the shutter release
button halfway to display the shutter speed,
aperture value, sensitivity and number of
recordable still pictures.)
