Select [S (Select)] in [Swtch dst msr pt] in the [A Rec.
Mode] menu.

Look through the viewfinder
and check the position of the
subject.

Use the four-way controller (2345) to select the desired
focus point.
The focus point lights red in the viewfinder (Superimpose AF Area) and
you can check where you set the focus point.
Setting the Focus Position in the Viewfinder
The focus point is set to the center of the AF point by pressing the 4 button
when [OK btn when shooting] in the [A Custom] menu is set to the default
setting (1 Center of AF Point) and the focus point other than center is
selected for S (Select).
The focus point is fixed to the center position regardless of this setting with
lenses other than DA, D FA, FA J, FA or F lenses.
