Recording Sound (Voice Recording Mode)
You can record sound. The recordable time appears on the LCD monitor
according to how much space is available on the SD Memory Card.
1 Set the mode dial to O and press
the power switch.

monitor.

2 Press the shutter release button.
Recording starts. The self-timer lamp and
flash status lamp light during recording.
3 Press the shutter release button.
Recording stops.
4 To exit the Voice Recording mode, turn the camera off.
• Sound is saved in WAVE monaural files.
• The microphone is located on the front of the camera. Aim the
camera to obtain the best sound.
• Recording continues while the shutter release button is pressed
and stops when the shutter release button is released.
Only [Q Playback] and [B Set-up] menu can be selected in the
Voice Recording mode.
