10.3 Using an external universal siren
You can also add sirens and warning lights that are not part of the Marmitek range. Please use a separately available Marmitek
AD10 (art. no. 08933), AW12 (09463) or the AM12 (art. no. country specific, see www.marmitek.com/plug-in).
Set this module to address B2. The module is switched on in case of an alarm and switched off after 4 minutes.
10.4 Transceiver function
The Marmitek X-10 range contains several wireless remote controls that you can use to control your Marmitek X-10 modules
(such as a universal remote control for your TV, audio equipment and Marmitek X-10). These remote controls use the RF system,
which means the remote control signal goes through walls and ceilings. See www.marmitek.com/x10wireless for more
information. Your console will convert these remote control RF signals to X-10 signals and transmit them via the mains. You can
then control the Marmitek X-10 modules using these transmitters.

10.6 Basic address for Home Automations functions
The basic address is set to control multiple Home Automation modules on the SC9000. The standard basic address is A1. The A in
this address is called the HouseCode. The HouseCode of the console, the remote controls and the Home Automation modules all
have to have the same letter. The 1 in the basic address is called the UnitCode. If your neighbours also have a Marmitek security
system, it may be necessary to change the basic addresses and the addresses of your Marmitek X-10 modules.
If you change the HouseCode of the console, the addresses for the Home Automation functions also change. Example: You
change the HouseCode from A into C.
