Digital Zoom
The digital zoom enables higher zoom magnifi cation than the optical zoom. Digital zoom can
electronically magnify an image created by the optical lens up to 1000 times.

Off : Disables Digital Zoom.
On : Enables higher digital zoom magnifi cation.

When you use the digital zoom, the camcorder processes the image
digitally more than in the optical zoom mode. As a result, the image
resolution may deteriorate.
Self Timer
When you enable the self-timer, there is a time delay of 10 seconds before recording starts.
You can record videos or take photos of yourself.
