ZOOMING IN AND OUT
Use the zoom function for close-up or wide-angle recording.
This camcorder allows you to record using the digital zoom.
To zoom in
Touch the
▼
(T) button to zoom in.
Digital Zoom is available from 3.5 to 4 times according to the video resolution.
To zoom out
Touch the
▲
(W) button to zoom out.
The digital zoom function is not available in the following conditions:
- When recording a video at "Video Resolution: 1080/30p."
- When connecting to a TV.
- During slow motion recording
Note that the image quality decreases when you use the digital zoom. The image quality
may deteriorate depending on how much you zoom in on the subject.
Frequent use of the digital zoom function consumes more power.
If you use the digital zoom while recording, the operation noises such as button touch sound
can be recorded.
The minimum focal length between the camcorder and the subject is 1.3m.
