PROTECT
You can protect saved important videos or photos from accidental deletion.
Protected images will not be deleted unless you release the protection or format the memory.
1. Insert the memory card and press the Power ( ) button to turn on the camcorder.
2. Press the Play (
) button to select the Play mode.
3. Touch the Menu (
) button

button to select “Protect.”
4. Select the option by touching the
▲/▼
button, then touch the OK button.

Select the desired videos or photos to protect by touching the
OK button, then touch the Menu (
) button. Select "Yes"
and touch the OK button to confi rm.
The indicator ( ) is displayed on the selected videos or
photos.
Touching the OK button toggles the selection between
protection and release.

Protects all videos and photos.
All Off
Cancels the protection for all videos and photos.
5. The pop-up selection menu will appear depending on the selected menu item.
Select the desired item with the
◄/►
button and the OK button.
Protected videos or photos will show the indicator ( ) when they are displayed.
If the write protection tab on the memory card is set to lock, you cannot set image protection.
