Digital Still Camera mode
✤ You can protect important images from accidental erasure.
■
If you execute FORMAT, all images including protected images will be erased.
1. Set the power switch to M.PLAY mode.
■
The last recorded image appears.
■
If there are no recorded images on the Memory Stick, NO STORED IMAGE! and will display on the screen.
2. Using the (FWD) and (REV) buttons, search for the still image that you want to protect.
3. Press the MENU button.
4. Turn the MENU DIAL to highlight MEMORY and push the MENU DIAL.

The MEMORY SET submenu will appear.
5. Turn the MENU DIAL to highlight PROTECT and push the MENU DIAL.
6. Press the MENU DIAL to alternate between THIS FILE ON/OFF.
■
THIS FILE : protects the currently selected file from erasure.
7. Using the (FWD) and (REV) buttons, search for other still images that you wish to protect.
■
Deactivate the image protection for the image by following step 6.
8. To exit the menu, press the MENU button.
