•You cannot dub titles, display indicators, or the
contents of cassette memory.
•When you connect with an i.LINK cable (DV
connecting cable), you may not be able to
operate the dubbing function correctly,
depending on the VCR.
Set CONTROL to IR in the menu settings of
your camcorder .
•When editing digital video, the operation
signals cannot be sent with LANC .
If you connect using an i.LINK cable (DV
connecting cable)
With digital-to-digital connection, video and
audio signals are transmitted in digital format for
high-quality editing.
Step 2: Setting the VCR to
operate with the A/V
connecting cable
To edit using the VCR, send the control signal by
infrared rays to the remote sensor on the VCR.
When you connect using an A/V connecting
cable, follow the procedure below, steps (1) to
(4), to send the control signal correctly.
(1) Set the IR SETUP code
1 Set the POWER switch to PLAYER on your
camcorder.
2 Turn the power of the connected VCR on,
then set the input selector to LINE.
When you connect a video camera recorder,
set its power switch to VCR/VTR.
3 Press MENU to display the menu.
4 Turn the SEL/PUSH EXEC dial to select ,
then press the dial.
5 Turn the SEL/PUSH EXEC dial to select EDIT
SET, then press the dial.
6 Turn the SEL/PUSH EXEC dial to select
CONTROL, then press the dial.
7 Turn the SEL/PUSH EXEC dial to select IR,
then press the dial.
8 Turn the SEL/PUSH EXEC dial to select IR
SETUP, then press the dial.
9 Turn the SEL/PUSH EXEC dial to select the
IR SETUP code of your VCR, then press the
dial.

Opmerkingen
•De titels, schermaanduidingen en de inhoud van
het cassettegeheugen kunnen niet worden
overgekopieerd.
•Bij aansluiting met een i.LINK kabel (DV-
aansluitsnoer) kan bij bepaalde modellen
videorecorders het kopiëren niet altijd goed
verlopen.
Dan kunt u het menu-onderdeel CONTROL beter
instellen op “IR” in het instelmenu van uw
camcorder.
•Voor het monteren van digitale videobeelden
kunnen de bedieningssignalen niet via de
LANC aansluiting worden verzonden.

aansluitsnoer)
Met deze volledig digitale aansluiting worden de
beeld- en geluidssignalen in digitale vorm
verzonden, hetgeen de beste kwaliteit oplevert.
Stap 2: De videorecorder
instellen op kopiëren via een
audio/video-aansluitsnoer
Voor het monteren met de videorecorder zendt u het
bedieningssignaal via infrarode stralen naar de
afstandsbedieningssensor van de videorecorder.
Als u de apparaten aansluit via een audio/video-
aansluitsnoer dient u de onderstaande
instelprocedures van (1) t/m (4) te volgen om te
zorgen dat het infrarode bedieningssignaal juist
wordt doorgegeven.
(1) Instellen van de IR SETUP code
1 Zet de POWER schakelaar van de camcorder in
de “PLAYER” stand.
2 Zet de aangesloten videorecorder aan en zet de
ingangskeuzeschakelaar op “LINE”.
Als u een andere videocamera/recorder aansluit,
zet u de POWER schakelaar daarvan in de
“VCR/VTR” stand.
3 Druk op de MENU toets om het instelmenu te
laten verschijnen.
4 Draai aan de SEL/PUSH EXEC regelknop, stel in
op en druk de regelknop in.
5 Stel met een draai aan de SEL/PUSH EXEC
regelknop in op EDIT SET en druk de regelknop
in.
6 Stel met een draai aan de SEL/PUSH EXEC
regelknop in op CONTROL en druk de
regelknop in.
7 Stel met een draai aan de SEL/PUSH EXEC
regelknop in op IR en druk de regelknop in.
8 Stel met een draai aan de SEL/PUSH EXEC
regelknop in op IR SETUP en druk de regelknop
in.
9 Kies met een draai aan de SEL/PUSH EXEC
regelknop de juiste IR SETUP
afstandsbedieningscode voor uw merk
videorecorder en druk de regelknop in.
De juiste IR SETUP code vindt u onder “Keuze
van de IR SETUP code” (op blz. 93).
