Error Messages
The following messages are displayed on the camera's LCD monitor or LCD panel or in the
viewfinder. Refer to list below for the meaning of the error message.

Card NO CARD A card is not inserted.
→ Insert a card into the camera. (page 29)
Full CARD FULL The maximum number of pictures has been
recorded on the card.
→ Erase unnecessary pictures (page 92) or
insert a new card. (page 29)
Err03 IMAGE FULL Number of created files on the card has reached
9999.
→ Erase unnecessary files (page 87) or insert a
new card. (page 29)
Err04 IMAGE NO. FULL Picture file names have reached 99,999.
→ Format card to save pictures on the computer
(page 30) or insert a new card (page 29) and
make sure the start number is not set to 99,999.

Err05 FOLDER FULL The maximum number of folders has been
reached.
→ The maximum number of folders possible is
510. (page 66)
Err06 FOLDER NO. FULL Folder names have reached 9,999.
→ Numbers above 9,999 cannot be attached to
folder names.
Err08 ONLY 1 IMAGE A card which had one or fewer pictures on it
was attempted to be played back in cycle
viewing mode.
→ After taking at least 2 pictures (page 34), try
cycle viewing again. (page 40)
Err09 PROTECTED A protected picture was attempted to be erased.
→ Cancel protect and try again. (page 97)
Err10 WRITE PROTECT A picture was attempted to be taken or erased
on a write-protected card.
→ Set the write-protect switch on the card to
OFF and take or erase the picture.
Err11 NO ROTATION INFO Rotation was attempted on a picture that was not
recorded by the camera.
→ Only pictures recorded by the camera can be
rotated. (page 88)
