Notes
Supported le formats are as follows:
MP3: le extension “.mp3”
DivX: le extension “.avi” or “.divx”
MP4: le extension “.mp4” or “.m4v”
JPEG: le extension “.jpg” or “.jpeg”
Note that even when le names have the
above le extensions, if the actual les
dier, the system cannot play those les, or
playback problems occur even if you play the
les. Especially, such audio les and audio
data in video les may generate a loud noise
which could damage the speaker system and
the system may malfunction.
Depending on the encoding/writing soware,
recording device, or the recording media
used to record data, you may encounter
problems such as being unable to play back,
sound interruptions and noise.
e following discs/situations can increase
the time it takes to start playback:
a disc recorded with a complicated tree
structure.
a disc recorded in multi session.
a disc to which data can be added (non-
nalized disc).
when the tracks or les in another folder
have just been played back.
Some CD-Rs/-RWs or DVD-Rs/-RWs/+Rs/
+RWs cannot be played back on the system
depending on the le format.
e system can play back to a depth of
8 folders only.
e system may not play certain types of
JPEG image les (ex. a JPEG image le that is
less than 8 (width) × 8 (height) pixels).
When you press
or
to select the next or
previous image, the image will return to its
original view even if you have rotated the
image previously.
e system may not play back a video le
when the le has been combined from two or
more video les.
e system cannot play back any video le
that is more than 720 (width) × 576 (height)
pixels in resolution or 2 GB in le size.
Depending on the video le, the picture may
be unclear or the sound may skip.
e system cannot play back some video les
that are longer than 3 hours.
