To change a mapping, select the auxiliary number from the 8 available, press right to select,
sand then scroll through the available functions using up and down control inputs.
5.8 Alarms Menu
The Alarms menu allows you to turn on and off alarm-related settings, learn alarm positions,
and set the status of the two (2) alarm relays.
Learn alarm pos reacts differently depending on the current alarm mode. If Auto Alarm is on
and Multi Alarm is off, this function saves the single Alarm Pos, which would be activated if
the tamper switch is triggered. If Multi Alarm is on, you can select which alarm position to
save by selecting Right, toggling up and down to the desired number, and then Right again to
save.
A MIC power supply has a single tamper switch / alarm input built in; however, if more are
required, a multi alarm plug-in board with 8 inputs and a washer drive function is available.
Along with the 8 inputs, the multi alarm card also features 2 output relays, which can be used
to either reset the activated alarm, or provide a signal to some other equipment.
The following settings control the behavior of the MIC 500 Series Camera as it detects
different alarm signals.

AUTO ALARM Enables use for both single or multi alarm functionality. With Auto Alarm
on and Multi Alarm off, the unit monitors the tamper switch line, moving
to the programmable Alarm Position when the connection is grounded.
If Auto Alarm is turned off, the camera ignores any changes in the status
of the tamper line.
ON/OFF
MULTI ALARM Enables you to set up a separate position for each of the eight (8) alarm
inputs. Any given alarm input triggers the camera to move to the
position to which it is associated. To enable this function, turn on Auto
Alarm and Multi Alarm.
